As part of the PSD Group, Portfolio staff are actively involved in supporting a range of charities.
In the UK, our chosen charity is Kids Company which we support through fundraising, active volunteering and payroll giving. PSD Group matches the money donated by staff via payroll giving. Portfolio staff are also entitled to one days paid leave per year to work with Kids Company.
Kids Company is a children’s charity that offers emotional, practical and educational support to some 11,000 lone and vulnerable children. Many of the service-users have suffered emotional, physical and sexual abuse and often do not have a responsible carer in their lives who can advocate on their behalf. Kids Company operates through a drop-in crisis centre in South London, a specialist education unit and offers therapeutic services in over 30 schools.
