Katja has got 14 years experience in the hospitality industry combined with a Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Her international career started in 1996 when she moved to the UK from her native Finland.

In London she has worked for Sodexho Prestige for Gary Rhodes, AKA & The End and Dolphin Square Hotel in events management and a variety of positions at HoD level.

She has just returned from Barbados where first she formed part of the opening team for an exclusive private members' club. Her last assignment was at a world renowned resort & residence as Reservations & Room Revenue Manager with involvement in the property sales.

Her overall experience combined with a passion for the trade has brought her to work for Portfolio where as part of the International Division she is dealing with Sales & Marketing assignments.
