Shona Rye has been with Portfolio since 1998 and has 11 years recruitment experience. She specialises in the recruitment of Corporate roles with a strong operational  / food & beverage slant and General Management positions in the hotel sector throughout the UK.

As part of her remit Shona also manages a team of specialists recruiting management positions within high profile, award winning stand-alone restaurant operations.

Prior to entering recruitment Shona spent 6 years working in food and beverage and house management within country house operations. On leaving the industry, Shona spent two years working in recruitment concentrating on generalist recruitment and temporary secretarial appointments before specialising in hospitality recruitment. During this time she became a member of the Institute of Employment Consultants and most recently is completing her studies to become a Graduate of the CIPD.
