Client Profile  

My client is one of the most prestigious hotels in London offering 5* service and is part of an international luxury brand. Known for its sumptuous luxury, guests can benefit from its 198 distinctively styled suites and rooms and other amenities such as day spa, comprehensive gym, award winning restaurants and bar. Recent internal promotions have led to this opportunity and a successful candidate can expect the same in career development.

Job Specification

  • Drive revenue from the MICE and groups market segments from account lists, research and the industry association market
  • Identify and build relationships to generate new business from the above-mentioned markets covering both the direct and agency channels into the UK
  • To be pro-active in the MICE Industry Associations to increase the number of new opportunities and generate revenue
  • Proactively source and develop new MICE business, in conjunction with the Regional Sales Team, within both the Domestic and International market segments
  • Undertake regular sales trips into key Domestic and International feeder markets to meet new clients and develop new opportunities
  • Introduce, develop and maintain a suitable and working database for the MICE market
  • Develop account plans in order to maximise the opportunity of account penetration, (account plans to include objectives, timescales and methods)
  • Provide accurate reports to the Director of Sales, in order to manage and review performance of both the individual, the relevant accounts and the MICE/groups business as a whole
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of competitors and their activities
  • Actively partake in and source Familiarisation trips for relevant MICE/ corporate clients
  • To be active in adding input and ideas into the sales and marketing plan

Remuneration

Up to £40K + Bonus
