Executive Chef, up to £40,000, South West London
Client Profile:
Our client is seeking to relaunch the whole business by recruiting an exceptional Head Chef to drive the business forward and meet their focus of fresh food with the majority of the business being a prestigious staff restaurant / food court coupled with extensive corporate dining. As one of the leading B&I caterers they can offer a variety of services that are second to none for up to 1,000 covers a day.
Job Specification:
This is an exciting opportunity for this flagship site, you will have full responsibility for the smooth running of this extremely busy day to day kitchen operation responsibilities include
- managing and controlling labour costs within your area of responsibility to budget
- managing the kitchen team of variable hour employees and workers
- assisting in training and development within the Culinary team
- making personal recommendations based on knowledge and experiences to continuously improve products and services
This prestigious role requires either a event hotel or Flagship B&I experienced Head Chef who can ensure mouth watering dishes, scrupulous attention to detail, personal service and also being up to date with current food trends as this job will involve heavy menu development. This is predominately a five days out of seven roles, however the candidate will need to be flexible inline with this market leading business
Person Specification:
Ideally from event, hotel or Flagship B&I background, you are currently an Executive Head Chef or Head Chef looking for the next challenge to implement your standards and skills by harnessing the kitchen teams flair in this busy operation. You must have at proven experience and able to provide first class references and a "wanna do attitude”, with the confidence and character to work closely with the General Catering Manager to develop the business and yourself personally.
Remuneration up to £40,000
