A high profile health fitness and racquets operator which has over 70 clubs throughout the UK and Europe.

Job Specification

Results-driven General Managers are now required to lead the club teams to improve financial performance, enhance the member experience and exceed customer expectations. You will be required to pro-actively enhance the reputation and awareness of the club within the local area, understand competitor offerings and lead the team to increase sales growth. Increasing member retention is also crucial and therefore you will need to develop and initiate strategies to achieve this as well as drive secondary income streams. Above all, you will be required to recruit, motivate and manage your team to consistently improve balance scorecard results and help members get more out of life.

Person Specification

The successful candidates will have previous regional or general management experience within a sales driven, high volume, customer focused business likely to be either within the health and fitness, leisure, hotel or retail sector. Crucial to the role will be a proven track record of financial achievement within a highly competitive multi-million pound business, in particular, maximising revenue across a number of income streams. An inspirational leader who thrives in a team-orientated environment, you will need to demonstrate a creative mind with the ability to develop and manage the expectations of large teams as well as the skills to champion the highest levels of member care and customer service throughout all areas of the club.

Remuneration

£45,000 - £55,000 basic + bonus + car + benefits
