Corporate Sales Manager - 4* deluxe hotel - Central London - £30,000

Client Profile

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of the UK's most rapidly growing hotel groups. They are looking for a Corporate Sales Manager to join the Sales team at it's largest hotel on Russell Square. With 373 bedrooms, this listed building has recently undergone a £20 million refurbishment to provide modern, comfortable, design-led bedrooms in a superbly positioned location for both business and leisure. The hotel also boasts a fine dining restaurant, brasserie and traditional bar.

Job Specification

Create and implement a Sales Plan to set targets for key accounts and appointments.
Research, identify and contact opportunities for new rooms and conference business in line with hotel budget
Review and address competitor pricing, volume and market share for key accounts.
Re-negotiation of rates and contracts.
Attend regular hotel meetings to review sales strategy and also reviews with the Director of Sales on sales initiative and targeted accounts.
Regular and ad hoc sales business reporting.
Awareness and understanding of local markets and national / international trends.
Understanding of the company's policies and procedures and ensuring they are adhered to.

Person Specification

Candidates should have successful proactive sales and new business development experience as well as proven account management skills. Knowledge of the local London market is desirable. Candidates should be self-motivated, highly organised, adaptable and have excellent interpersonal skills and a natural flair for sales.

Remuneration

Up to £30, 000 plus 20% bonus.
