Job Specification
To be responsible for leading the overall revenue management strategy of the group and ensuring that all company disciplines are being adhered to, to maximize revenues and profit contribution. This position will have personal responsibility for inventory management throughout the group, setting and monitoring the company pricing strategy, achieving the targeted increase in GDS revenues and training of revenue management to the property teams.
Key focus will be on: Pricing, GDS Revenues, Inventory Control and Training.
Person Specification
- Excellent track record of area or group revenue management within an upper four or five star arena
- Ability to influence, persuade and motivate teams to achieve and exceed sales budget
- Entrepreneurial style of working to be both creative and innovative to challenge current practices and introduce new ways of growing revenues
- Ability to work well under pressure, with minimal supervision and maintain high standards and attention to detail
- Well-developed commercial acumen and ability to take calculated risks
- Experience within the upper four or five star hotel or conference market
- Experience in a similar area or group role
Remuneration – Negotiable
