Sales Manager - 4* deluxe hotel - Warwick - £25,000 + car
Client Profile
This charming hotel has an interesting history and was once a 16th century farm and then an inn. Later converted into a hotel, the property has been refurbished within to provide contemporary style and comfort while retaining the elegance of the exterior. The hotel offers 62 bedrooms, restaurant and bar and 10 state-of-the-art meeting rooms, with capacity for up to 200 people. The hotel has beautiful views and is set in a peaceful, rural location and is ideal for visiting the surrounding Cotswolds, Warwick Castle and the Birmingham NEC.
Job Specification
- Grow business from LCR and Conference accounts
- Bi-annual LCR rate negotiation and contracting
- Prepare and submit national rate tenders
- Research and identify opportunities for new rooms and conference business in line with hotel budget
- Close liaison with Area and National Accounts Teams and share leads
- Complete regular sales activity reports
- Regularly visit competitor hotels to compare service and product
- Develop a close working relationship with the hotel to encourage a 'sales culture'
- Co-ordinate hotel merchandising and local marketing
- Conduct client entertaining, showrounds and fam trips
- Ensure hotel and client data is clean and up to date
- Close involvement with the preparation and delivery of the hotels annual business plan and rolling three monthly sales plan
- Attend meetings and carry out agreed actions
- Attend job chats and performance reviews
Person Specification
Candidates should have successful proactive sales and new business development experience as well as proven account management skills. Knowledge of the local markets is desirable. Candidates should be self-motivated, highly organised, adaptable and have excellent interpersonal skills. A full and clean driving licence is also essential.
Remuneration
Up to £25,000 + car + bonus
