Client Profile

The UK's premier leisure and business travel group has recently launched a new product and service. As part of this new initiative they are looking to take on a Marketing Analyst to assist the Marketing Manager in raising awareness and the profile of this new company. This new service was launched at the end of 2007 and is gaining popularity quickly. Based in London, they need an experienced marketer to join the team to focus on marketing communications as well as online marketing of the service.

Job Specification

  • Support the Marketing Manager and Business Development Director in the delivery and development of the marketing strategy
  • Support the Marketing Manager in the delivery of major marketing and promotional activities
  • Assume responsibility for organising small marketing and promotional activities
  • Support the sales team and Marketing Manager in the preparation for trade shows as required
  • Maintain regular reports on key performance indicators
  • Build up relationships with the company's creative agencies
  • Support the E-Commerce Manager and Business Development Director’s in developing and delivering the online strategy
  • Support the E-Commerce Manager in managing the search engine optimisation strategy
  • Regular tracking of website performance against agreed KPIs and search terms, and summary reporting
  • Undertake tracking of performance of a limited number of 3rd party websites in the US which has reciprocal arrangements
  • Day to day project management for the website, including execution of updates through the content management system
  • Ad hoc analysis of site traffic, site performance etc as directed by the E-Commerce Manager

Person Specification

Candidates should have proven experience within marketing, a hospitality and / or travel background is essential. A degree in marketing is preferable. Good IT skills are essential and online / web marketing experience is highly desirable. Candidates should be self-motivated, highly organised, creative, adaptable and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent spoken and written English is also essential.

Remuneration

Up to £25,000 + bonus + pension
