Our client is looking for a strong General Manager. Their philosophy is to serve top quality food in relaxed and friendly surroundings. Food is served throughout the day. They currently have 40 sites around the country and have an excellent growth plan in place.
They want strong General Managers, who have a real passion for food and wine and very service orientated, with a great personality.
Job Specification
As General Manager you will be the face of the restaurant and lead from the front. Your role will see you using your strong people skills to oversee the entire restaurant operation. The General Manager will ensure that food and service standards are constantly of the highest standard. You will hold regular meetings with your team to make sure that they are all focussed to deliver the very best and you will motive and inspire by leading by example. You will also be focussed on taking the business forward and driving sales.
Person Specification
Proven track record of successfully managing quality high volume branded restaurants
Have a friendly, enthusiastic, outgoing and confident nature
Strong presence and hands on management style
Be passionate about looking after your guests
Attention to detail
Excellent knowledge in financial control - P&L's, Labour, GP's
Ability to delegate, prioritise and handle pressure
Be able to motivate your team
Be motivated to progress
