A fantastically unique opportunity to be the General Manager for this high profile, exceptional quality restaurant so we are looking for a General Manager at the top of their game!
The new improved concept is at early development stages so we are looking for a General Manager to be an integral part of shaping the future. A complex operation which will operate 2 restaurants, one volume casual dining and the other fine dining. This role will also incorporate the running and driving of a diverse funcion and events business, already established but has enormous growth protential.
This is going to be a stylish operation – the design is very chic, sophisticated yet informal and reaches out to a diverse clientele base.
Job Specification
A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager to open this fantastic restaurant in the West End of London. You will ideally have experience in either an opening or a re-launch of a restaurant but this is not essential. What is important however is that you have the confidence in your abilities to be the ‘face’ of this new business and be prepared to network and build a reputation for your new business.
A complex operation that requires a very astute and commercial General Manager to juggle the demands of a high volume operation.
As the General Manager, you must be a natural leader; able to get results through empowering your team and ensuring they share your passion for excellence. You will be accountable for the recruitment and training of your new team, established a strong and ambitious management team who will the talent for the future, so experience of developing individuals is essential.
Quality must be at the top of your agenda, in service, in food quality and in presentation. The successful General Manager will take accountability for the entire operation. You will ideally be an experienced yet modest operator who is at the top of your game but still be passionate enough to adopt a visible presence in the business.

Person Specification
A highly experienced General Manager with a proven track record
Have a branded restaurant background, exposure to events and funcions is ideal but not essential
Have an established background in quality restaurants
Ideally at the top of your game and ready for the next step
Exposure to high volumes
Managed a multi-income stream business
Able to lead and develop a team
Able to fit in with a high energy operation
Conscientious and dedicated to exceeding expectations
Highly sales focused
Ambitious and able to take the next career step!
Remuneration
£50-60k basic salary + package
