Job Summary: Business Development Manager - Hotel Sales & Catering Software Company - Kingston upon Thames - OTE £36,000
Client Profile
The client is one of the market leaders in sales and catering software and services for the hospitality industry. They are looking to recruit a Customer Sales Manager to develop their business through account management, development and penetration of existing clients and solution selling the client's products and services to a variety of hospitality venues across the UK, Irish, South Africa and Scandinavian markets.
Job Specification
- Develop a new pipeline of business and outbound prospecting calls
- Handle 'new business' leads and enquiries
- Qualify sales leads for effective and efficient utilisation by the Sales Team
- Identify target marketing opportunities
- Create and execute targeted marketing plans in conjunction with Marketing Team
- Target key sales opportunities with clients installed with competitor products
- Expand corporate account penetration, in accordance with pre-defined sales processes
- Actively review daily trade and industry reports and convert to condensed format for team use
- Region to be covered would include: UK, Ireland & Southern Africa
Person Specification
- Proven sales experience in proactive hotel conference and event sales is desirable
- Candidates should be able to work independently and a self-starter is preferable
- Confident and proactive approach
- Organised and efficient work ethic
- Technological understanding and capability is essential
- Ability to travel freely between UK and US is essential
Remuneration
£28,000 + bonus (OTE circa £36,000)
