Job Summary: Sales Manager - 4* Hotel & Golf Club - South London / Surrey - £30,000

A great opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join the team at this elegant country house hotel and golf club. One of a collection of hotels in a progressively expanding hotel and conference venue group, this historic building has an idyllic setting in over 200 acres of parkland. The property boasts an award winning restaurant & bar, 22 meeting rooms and a health & fitness centre not to mention an 18 hole championship golf course.
Job Specification
- Assist in the co-ordination and direction of the sales team
- Positively approach all sales opportunities to maximise sales
- Carry out a minimum of 10 quality appointments per week
- Achieve agreed revenue targets or accounts and new business
- To devise Account Development Plans and Sales Strategies and Action Plans to drive revenue into the hotel
- Ensure the research team are actively developing new leads
- Conduct regular competitor analysis and monitor developments
- Prepare the annual Budget and Business Plan in conjunction with the Business Development Manager and General Manager
- Liaise with the Marketing Department on new initiatives and promotions
- To attend regular financial review meetings, sales & revenue meetings and compile statistical reports as required
- To attend fam trips and hospitality events as necessary
- To consistently deliver excellent customer service within the sales department
Person Specification
Candidates should have proven successful experience in hotel sales and a proactive approach. You should be quality focused with excellent customer service and people skills. A driven desire to achieve sales targets is imperative. Background in Corporate and MICE markets is an advantage.
Remuneration
£34,000 + bonus
