Job Specification:
The Sous Chef must be from a Japanese 5 star restaurant background with a passion for food and must have a down to earth attitude and be a team player who inspires trust and confidence. the role is to caterer and operate the directors, boardroom and function rooms. The candidate must have passion for food and be innovative as the client expectations are extremely high as are the specification and working environment of the kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity, which is rarely available, working Monday to Friday only with the hours being 7.00am - 5.30pm plus overtime for hospitality/ evening functions.
Person Specification:
- Ideally candidate has Japanese restaurant experience as a Sous Chef looking for the next position to develop your skills and harness your flair in this prestigious private restaurant and dining room facility which will be predominately Sushi and Bento boxes
- They will treat the business as their own and have a can do attitude with excellent organisational skills and kitchen management experience
- You must have at least proven knowledge and able to provide first class references, with the confidence and character to work closely with the Executive Chef to develop the business and yourself personally
