Sales Manager (Conference and Banqueting), Premiership Rugby Union Club, Midlands

Client Profile

My client is a prestigious premiership Rugby club whos ground is about to undergo a multi million pound redevelopment to make it one of the largest hospitality and C&B venues in the East Midlands. Constantly developing and striving to deliver quality and excellent customer service, they have an enviable reputation for innovation and professionalism. The club has strong foundations and a friendly supportive atmosphere, the prospects for a committed and ambitious manager are enviable.

Job Specification

Reporting directly to the commercial manager of the club the role holds the responsibility for the pre selling and marketing off plan of all non match day conference and banqueting to both local and regional customers. Plus the management of a team of 3 procative sales executives and co-ordinators to deliver a target of £ 3 million.
 
Person specification

The ideal candidate will have a strong conference and banqueting sales background with a proven record of attracting high volume, excellent quality business.

Previous knowledge of openings and pre openings is preferable as is a knowledge of high pressure service environments and preferably from a large volume sport and leisure background with a highly committed attitude to service standards the ideal candidate is a strong a supportive team player who thrives on delivering superior sales performance.
