Client Profile

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with this world-renowned hotel group for an experienced Sales Administrator to join their team, at their UK head office in west London. The role manages the sales reporting for the group in the UK together with the management and control of the sales software application and sales database. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, Marketing and Distribution, this role will provide support and regular reporting for the heads of departments.

Job Specification

  • Assist the DOS in collecting information to produce monthly sales dashboard for country management
  • Collate monthly qualitative reports from teams and thus provide elements for the internal newsletter
  • Collate and distribute UK priority hotels reports
  • Collate and distribute departmental business plans
  • Assist the DOS in defining domestic and international sales targets
  • Assist the DOS in Bonus calculations and distribution twice a year
  • Looking after all UK sales application users
  • Sales application Training and sales application refresher
  • Sales application support and Helpdesk (1st and 2nd level)
  • Ensure good sales application knowledge and usage by both sales manager and hotels
  • Sales application Sales Administration, Database management and Maintenance of client Database duty
  • Control and manage the sales application logins, and security access
  • Supervise the account codification
  • Provide basic extractions of sales application (e.g. Accounts, Contacts, RFP and Production) on a regular basis and on ad-hoc request
  • Supervise the proper loading of our commercial offers, especially during the re-contracting period
  • Deal with any sales application issues in general
  • In charge of the quality and accuracy of all the UK data in sales application
  • Perform regular and random check controls concerning the quality of the data in the sales application
  • Coordinate the returns of any marketing campaigns and the need to update our data in the sales application
  • Update and communicate the monthly sales reports to the teams, based on the data in ASA
  • Provide on-demand reporting and analysis when needed
  • Unique contact between all local users (i.e. sales persons, management, hotels) and the central team in Paris
  • Support the management team concerning any sales application issues

Person Specification

  • Candidates are sought with current experience in hotel sales at either hotel sales co-ordinator or hotel sales executive level
  • The position requires a great deal of computer literacy as well as a sound understanding of the hospitality business and sales administration
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are required
  • Basic French language skills would be an advantage as would training experience
  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and be enthusiastic, well presented and have good communication skills

Remuneration

£26,000 + 10% bonus
