Client Profile
My client is the flagship 5* property for this international hotel group’s luxury collection and is looking for a top HOD for its reactive sales and groups team. The hotel offers top amenities including 160 suites, 14 conference rooms, fitness centre, swimming pool, restaurant and bar most of which have fantastic river views. Nearing the start of a four month refurbishment program which will increase seated maximum capacity in its C & B rooms to 500, my client requires someone with proven team, interdepartmental and client management skills for the repositioning.
Job Specification
- To maximise conference & banqueting revenue and profit through strategic diary management
- To deliver outstanding customer service
- To train and develop three sales executives on all C & B/group sales functions
- To be responsible for rolling forecasts and budgets
- To standardise and maintain departmental procedures and methods
- To facilitate the building of relationships amongst the team, other departments, booking agents and corporations
- To create a working environment that supports organisational and brand values
- To assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in the development of future marketing opportunities re C & B

- Proven success in C & B sales and working with proactive teams

Remuneration
