Brand Manager - National role

Client Profile

My Client is provider of out sourced managed services. They operate globally and are considered to be a market leader and highly innovative. This particular division excels at succeeding both in internal and external contracts. It is a firmly results orientated business. They are retaining and winning business partly through intelligent dialogue aimed at understanding the client and contract, but also by development of retail concept solutions.
 
They are a forward thinking, open-minded organisation with a results orientated environment.  Success is measured by financial achievement.  They are a no nonsense, direct and business like company, driven by the momentum created by their own fast pace of operating.   In order to maintain this they must constantly understand and align themselves with the client - at all levels and anticipate client needs and direction. 

Job Specification

The Brand Manager is to support the chain of 70+ convenience stores across numerous managed services contracts. Many outlets are established but need to be revitalised and the overall performance to be increased. Others are relatively new acquisitions and need to be totally repositioned and branded accordingly. The role of Brand Manager is key to shaping the standards of entire retail operation nationally.


Person Specification

You require at least 3 years update senior management experience in fast moving high street/convenience retail environments. Good attention to detail. An outgoing, confident personality with a strong sense of responsibility. Extensive change management and project management experience. Excellent leadership skills and the ability to get the buy in to  new ideas. Commercial acumen & understanding of financials. Good analytical skills and an ability to work strategically· A creative and positive approach. A valid full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel and spend time at the various locations.

Remuneration

+£50k basic, car, bonus etc.  but neg for the right candidate
